The Circle Line of the Singapore MRT is the fourth mass rapid transit train line in Singapore. At time of writing (May 2010), only 16.5 km of the line has been opened, with 16 stations. When fully completed, it will have 31 stations spanning a distance of 35.7 km, and will become the longest fully automated metro line in the world. The Circle Line is colour coded orange.

CC1Dhoby GhautThe Dhoby Ghaut MRT station is an underground station. It first opened on 12 December, 1987, for the North South Line. It became an interchange when the North East Line opened on 20 June, 2003. It is one of two MRT stations with travellators - the other being the Serangoon MRT Station. On 17 April, 2010, the Dhoby Ghaut station links to the Circle Line, becoming the only interchange station in Singapore serving three lines, and the biggest MRT Station in Singapore. The Dhoby Ghaut station is the second deepest station, reaching a depth of 28 meters, equivalent to a five-storey building, and surpassed in depth only by the Bras Basah Station.

CC2Bras BasahThe Bras Basah MRT Station is an underground station that opened on 17 April, 2010. It is located in front of the Singapore Art Museum. At a depth of 35 meters below ground, this is the deepest station in the system, with the longest single escalator, at 41.3 meters.NONE
CC3EsplanadeThe Esplanade MRT station is an underground station that opened on 17 April 2010. It is located next to the War Memorial Park and Suntec City Convention Centre.NONE
CC4PromenadeThe Promenade MRT Station is an underground station that opened on 17 April 2010. It is located along Temasek Avenue, near Millennia Walk. This station became an interchange on 14 January 2012 when the Circle Line Extension opens here. In 2013 the Downtown Line is also expected to pass through it.

CC5Nicoll HighwayThe Nicoll Highway MRT Station is an underground station which opened on 17 April, 2010.

The completion date of Stage 1 of the Circle Line was pushed back from 2008 to 2010 due to an accident which took place on 20 April, 2004, when the Nicoll Highway collapse, killing four and injuring two. The accident caused the Nicoll Highway station to be shifted some 100 meters from the originally planned location.
